Hey techies...

We just got Final Cut Express 4 at work. We are doing some online video stuff and wanting to beef it up with the professional look. Any tips? Anyone use it?

The main question I have... I want to do something cool like a news open. How do you do that?

Sir Mick - are you at work at this time of morning? Go home and go to bed!

you need after effects or some other sort of motion graphics program

if you are using the mac it integrates pretty well with shake or motion

personally i have basic knowledge of shake...little to no knowledge of motion and a pretty moderate level of knowledge of after effects

if you want to download the trial version of after effects, i could probably help you out at the office with putting an intro together

you can see what i can do in the following clip (its the only published thing of when i was at school...i helped a buddy with his project...my own project focused on other things)

you can also see my acting chops!

Can't help you on Final Cut Express.... I stopped using Final Cut Pro after 3 was released.

my assistance was minimal on that project but it was primarily on the opening graphics
