For anyone interested the wife and in-laws are going to see Ron Paul at 3:30 PM in New Orleans. Sorry for such short notice. If anyone is interested we have room for 3 more people in the Lac. Hit me up with a message if you want to and we'll ride together or follow us. We will be leaving at about 12 from the Camp Dantzler area.:D

We don't pump, the wells we have have enough formation pressure to send it to us.

Unreal. Amazing. I cannot think of an adjective big enough to describe the rally. There were over 600 people there in the Hilton. The room was very large and people were so packed in that people were spilling into the halls and stuff. In true Louisiana fashion when Dr. Paul came in the people started yelling 'who dat?' 'who dat'? 'who dat gonna beat Ron Paul?' Dr. Paul spoke for about 40 minutes and the message guys, is still the same one. Sound fiscal solutions, better foreign policy, no 16th Amendment. I shook the hand of the most unbelievable champion of freedom. I actually shook his hand. He is a great historian, gentleman, and intellectual. We took lots of pictures and the wife recorded the whole speech. We left with the impression that the caucuses tomorrow will likely go in Paul's favor. The grassroot organization in Louisiana is astounding. The delegates and the coordinators for the state seem very optimistic. Louisiana has 46 delegates from what they said. This could be huge. Dr. Paul was extremely elated that that many people showed up. I am on cloud nine right now. It really was like meeting Thomas Jefferson. I also sincerely believe that the closer the March 11 primary gets here the more likely Dr. Paul is to come here. :D:bouncy:

I'm confused: Ron Paul supports the constitution, except for the amendments he doesn't like? Something doesn't make sense there...

I could literally spend the next hour explaining why he deems the 16th Amendment 'unconstitutional' but I seriously doubt many people outside the Paul camp care. Suffice it to say this amendment should not have been ratified. This amendment paved the way for one of the ten major planks of communism to come in the way of a graduated income tax. I will stop there and if you have any questions I will gladly answer them later.

But it was ratified. That makes it just as legitimate as any other amendment, including the 1st, 5th, and 10th amendments.

If you're going to be a Constitutionalist, you gotta support the whole shebang.

Superseded by the 24th amendment, silly.

These pics are rather simple but fun nonetheless. They are jumbled in with some others. Also we are trying to figure out the ebst way to put the video up.

The absolute time of my life. We got there an hour or so early just to enjoy it a little more, knowing the Ron Paul would be there. I have plenty of stories to tell the little one. Ron Paul is a fragile looking man but extremely intelligent. Of course not that size correlates to intelligence!
