Musicians, introduce yourself, your group and your instrument. Imaginary bands apply.

Well, I play guitar. It is more of a bedroom, personal thing. No gigging or such. Just something to spend money on! Three guitars, a bass, and two tube amps. Not to mention effects. When asked, I usually respond that I am more of a listener than a player. I do love music, though.

Actually, now that I count, it is as follows:
Alvarez acoustic, Fender 50th anniversary strat(with active p/u's), Peavey milestone II electric (my first); Peavey Predator Plus electric; and a cheap ass Dean 4 string bass.
On the amp side: Peavey Delta Blues 210 tube amp; Peavey Triumph 60 tube amp.
I'm cursed with being a lefty, but it works for me.

I play piano, but only slow stuff, cause I'm not good enough yet to hit the right notes and keep a fast beat...

Played trumpet in sixth grade beginner band....the climax of my musical experience came when we played "Louie, Louie" at the Spring Concert...
I always wished I could play guitar or drums, but never followed through....My grandad was a bluegrass musician, who played the banjo, guitar, and dobro(sp?)...I used to like to listen to him play...He had a group called the "Seldom Herd".... they had an ol' boy named Doogie who played the saw....about the prettiest sound I've ever heard....
Me and buddy used to always say we were gonna start a speed metal band named "The Devil's Elves", but it never worked out...
I love music, but I've never been much of a musician....

I played flute in high school and play piano on occassion but not very well. I tried to take lessons one time but I am not good at going backwards. I know where the keys are and I understand the timing, don't make me go back to basic lesson 1.

Trombone, euphonium, tuba, susaphone, baritone, marching baritone, etc. Low brass, some guitar (still learning). Petal High Band kicks ass! Well, we used to, back when I was there.

My undergrad degree is in percussion performance. My main instruments were keyboard (marimba, vibraphone), drum set, and snare drum.
I taught percussion for the Petal Schools for 10 years.
I play set in two bands at my church. I play on a Roland electric kit so they can control my loudness.

my best friend and i wanted to be DJs in 8th grade. not like radio DJs, but with turntables. we were going to save some dollar amount every day for so many years until we could afford a Pioneer. our name was Itchy and Scratchy. never happened.
later we formed a rock band called Big Ass Crouton, inspired by a very ambitious salad. drums and kazoo.

I've played AT a lot of things. Just about anything with a reed at one time, Clarinet - Sax - Oboe - Bassoon, electrical - acoustic - bass guitar, piano, drums to fill in, vocals in some garage bands.
I still have several instruments at home and when I want to feel like I'm in concert I turn the Sony knob all the way to the right, let the big Bose vibrate the shingles off the house and grab something and act like I know what I am doing or used to know.
I suppose my best instrument now is my foot and an Alpine.
