soMissTV and I went tonite to go pick up my new monitor- my eyes are starting to get bad so i needed something that i could see with-

yes, it is 42" of pure plasma on my DESK. yes, my desk. and it is hooked up to my computer.

hope someone can fix it for me-----

It sounds like a banshee is caught in the voltage transformer. I can't believe you've already got it hooked up; you wasted no time.

Just shoot some of that foam in a bottle stuff into all the air vents; it'll muffle the sound.

That's how they are mounted in the control room, 6 60's all around the room.......don't leave it on one screne too long CSG or it will burn into the monitor.

that darn thing hurt my eyes cuz i was sitting to close to it i guess, or it was the noises it was making

CSG, I'm confused... :confused: Was it the MONITOR that was making the loud noise or your computer??

And if it was the MONITOR and you just bought it, why don't you take it back??? :shrug:

it's a 42" plasma deal that i ran into- trust me i wouldn't have bought it if i didn't have some support in the decision-

i had my repair man come by today, and after riding around and getting a part replaced, it seems like it is something else. but i don't think it will cost an arm and a leg.
