Went to the grand opening tonight.I went to watch my niece play fast-pitch softball at Petal Schools new softball complex.It's a really nice place.My wife and several other former PHS soft-ball players got to get out on the field and get their picture taken.Then the Mayor and some of the Alderpersons cut the ribbon and said a few words I wasn't really paying very close attention to.
Nice dug-outs,nice concession stands and restrooms,but the parking is in a dangerous(foul-ball)place.Glad Petal softballers have a new field.

is that the one over there next to that park that they were talking about using eminent domain?

No. This is on school property on the new connector road off Harrington Road.

Got another game starting at 11:00 in the morning.Saturday.

I will be there trying to keep the boy occupied so maybe my wife can watch half a ballgame.
