Just wondering if anyone out there quilts. I am interested in and trying to get started...just took a class at Kelley's Pins and Needles in Purvis. I have a huge learning curve to overcome! :D

Heavens no. It takes me thirty minutes to sew a button on. Almost easier to buy a new shirt. I certainly admire those who can sew.

Let me be clear...I cannot sew either, that's what makes this a challenge. I too admire those who can sew and have the patience for it.

Can I ask a question, whats the difference between quilting and sewing? I know sewing is like making clothes and stuff, but I think the only thing I have seen quilting referenced to is making those fluffy blankets, can you make clothes with quilting as well?

I can make jelly. Oh yeah! And can put up a garden. I just can't sew.
But I got a machine. Actually two. They are just sitting there collecting dust.

Quilting by hand is not something I enjoy, have made one small quilt, but I would like to try to do one on the machine.
