While I'm on vacation I've got a bit of trimming to do.
If anybody wants some cuttings I'm going to have plenty.
List of things that have good cuttings potential and even the Crepe Myrtles have some larger sucker shoots for transplanting - some of them blooming now:
1- Natchez white Crepe Myrtles
2- Watermelon pink Crepe Myrtles
3- Purple blue Crepe Myrtles
4- Country red Crepe Myrtles
5- Red petal / yellowish center blossumed Camellia (mine usually blooms for Christmas)
6- Cane grass (I call it). Not Bamboo but looks like a verigated cane. Not an intrusive plant, it mostly stays in a group. Not sure this is what Fotno was looking for. A small cane.
7- Purple Magnolia
8- White Gardenia, very potent lilac smelling blooms. Mine bloom several times during the warm season.
9- Sweet Olive
10- A really big and active Domestic Hibiscus, watermelon pink. The domestic variety is the one that is native here and comes back every year
It's too wet today so I doubt I will do any of it. If you think you want some of this just let me know, take a drive and load up and save yourself a ton of money if you are looking for plants.
If you aren't sure when you can come I will see if I can scare up some pots and save you something for later.
