The first one looks like it may be part of a parking garage.

I was thinking the same thing...with that red bar on the left hand side...is there one downtown???

I know there is two, I think three. There is one next to that CMB? Finance. One across from the post office. And one under the parking lot at Regions Bank. I am thinking that it is the one across from the post office, if that is what it is.

The sixth one has to be in an ally. Maybe down by the Bottling Company, on the back side?

Seventh on has to be a building that has not been resorted because of the rust?

I thought the description you gave, re: #2, the arched window...and it looks Pink to me above it...would make it EASIER to find!

and does anyone have a clue to what #8 might be? My son suggests around the depot!

I really think that is the parking garage across from the post office. Look to the back of the picture and there is a slant in the concrete like it is going up to the next level.

The Faulkner building at the corner of Main and Front, 6 story, is being completely renovated....

#8 looks like a cross tie hanging there. If it is not there, maybe down towards Economy Supply.

I think the Fan Mail is a small door, or door like. I think an older building not using that any more. Maybe some one put FAN on there joking? Is that some sort of door hinge?

#10 is really interesting. I don't recall seeing that yesterday anywhere we were at.

We are having a ball! We are soaking wet, but we are having a lot of fun. Seven down, and three to go! We are taking a lunch break, then we'll head back out.

We are back!!! At least 3 inches shorter from all that walking ...but we (esp eagle eye Katz) did a great job!!!! We only need 1 more from this game...and we drove all over H'burg, after WALKING all over ...just looking for the pic in "Name the Place"...and it doesn't exist! Does it K?

It looks like a creosoted 4 x 4 crosstie....with a pipe stuck through it with a washer and nut and some foreign object that I can't tell what it is...next to the nut!

Is it NOT a piece of wood? and I know it's GOT to be attached to SOMETHING...we were looking close to the buildings....we hunted for 6 1/2 hours...(probably the most fun 6 1/2 hours I've had in a long time) laughing and walking and seeing new things...I took pics that I will post in "Pic of the Day"....but this one .....we just couldn't find! and if you give us a hint/clue/more information....we might can close this deal by Wednesday ;)

SMT...you had NO IDEA what this was going to turn into...you should see some of the reactions we got from people when we told them we were on a building scavenger hunt...they got excited too! This was a great idea...and so much fun! Thanks again!

Alrighty folks! Here's our answers. Again this was a group effort, with Optimistik, Crawls, and myself. Crawls brought up the all important caboose of pics! SMT, I can not express to you how much fun I've had doing this, but the best part was meeting Crawls and Optimistik. The talking and laughing we did while looking was priceless!

And we even made it by the original deadline! Woot! Woot!
