cheap TV

i have a friend that had a TV go bad on him-

he went to walmart, and ya know- they don't sell tube TV's anymore- go figure

so if anyone has an old tv that they aren't using and want to sell, let me know-

25" and above would be ideal since this is the only TV they have and it is for their living room-

I'm stumped...why doesn't he just buy some other TV...why does he HAVE to have a tube??? They've got so many to choose from? I'll be HAPPY when mine finally goes out (GE 1987) so I can get an HDTV or Plasma!

Plasma, HDTV's etc. aren't cheap, and may not fit in to his budget at the moment.

i saw those on craigs, but i was going to try here first.

he doesn't have the money to buy plasmas or LCDs or anything like that-

the cheapest TVs that i have found are at best buy, being 149 for a 20" and 199 for a 24"

i was just seeing if someone on here had one in the garage or something taking up space and needing to get rid of it-

Dude, there used to be a guy who, literally, had a mini-storage filled with tv's, microwaves, etc., from USM students who left them at the end of semester. However, I can't for the life of me, remember his name/number.

Man, I wish you had posted that earlier last week. I put one out by the road for garbage pick-up Wednesday. There was nothing wrong with it other than a missing remote.
