Santa has come to flowergirls house and left a big red Sony Vaio CR Notebook with Vista running on it. I think this is going to be interesting. (BTW, it is a very generous gift from the hubby, so can't fuss about the Vista, must learn my way around it).
I don't know enough about this stuff to even know how to ask for what I need help with, but, I think I need a wireless card? And, do I need to load my Wildblue software on the new (did I mention it was red?) notebook? or do I hook the plug-in thing up to the new one and use the preloaded internet connection to connect to wildblue.com and set up from my main page there?
Help?

are you talking about a ePCI card for your internet? do you have high speed at home with a wireless router?
there is a switch on the front of the PC for the wireless on the sonys-

I have Wildblue Satellite hookup at home. I think I need a wireless router. Are they very expensive?

No they're not expensive.
Try out the Linksys brand at Best Buy or any other electronics store in Hattiesburg.

You need an ethernet patch cable.Run it from the wild blue modem to the new wireless router.Doesn't take much setup, theres a button on the front. You may want to set up some security on it.Me or somebody else on here can handle that for you when the time comes.

Vista came with the kid's christmas present. I set it up the other day to connect to my wireless, etc, so when they open it, they only need to turn it on. Was pretty simple.
You can DO it! (doesn't work as well without the accent :) )
