Got some skeeters this year for sure. Keep in mind we managed to get through June without being in the "June drought" as usual, leading to the increased skeeter population.
Middle of July and we have seen scant rain in the central part of the state in the last week or two. This should help.
Keep those old water holding things empty, look for old tires, old drum tops, things of that nature turned upside down so they don't hold water for skeeters to breed in.
If you see an old property near or next to you that has things like this and nobody is attending to them call the city, county or the DEQ.
The closest DEQ office near us is on the Coast.

Well I bought me some Off 'family' spray.......I'd spray it on me.....10 minutes later...skeeter bites. Dang I must be sweet!! Them skeeters love me!!Looked at the bottle and it said 5% deet....so I'm in Walmart on a mission to find the highest deet content I could find. The most I saw was 25% deet. Bought it....so far so good.

Doesn't the skeeter truck spray a mixture of MALATHON and diesel or something?

They used to spray nightly here in town, but I hear the truck may be once or twice a week, and instead of the evenings, they are now spraying in the mornings.

There was one that would pass on our road about once or twice a week, but I haven't seen it lately, either. Of course, I've been out of town a lot, so I dunno anything anyways.
