Dangit, now BenAllmon has his avatar of his primered VW van, that's it. I'm about to finally embark on the venture known as 'back from the dead' on my '50 Plymouth. I can't wait anymore, and all this talk about car show's and cruise-in's is just spurring my in the ass to get my rod packing dirt. My wife is just gonna have to get over it, and you married men know what I mean. So, does anyone have a doghouse I can sleep in at night?

Iffin she were a 'smrt' woman she'd be out there working on it with ya, well unless you want it to be your own lil project. ;)

All I gotta do is get some rebar or square tubing, weld it to brace the body, and I'll chop the top first. Then I'll place it on the s-10 chassis and then add engine, etc.

She will not show up late to ride to "meet night" with you when all is done.
Make it so.

Damn straight. I went to church, had a guy tell me he has what he thinks is a '41 Ford truck with a 327 in it, now that's really spurring me on, cuz he told me I could have it, come and get it. I'm gonna go check it out tomorrow after work, so stay tuned for updates.

Okay, couldn't see the truck yesterday, guy worked late. Suppose to go see it this evening. He swears it's a '40-'41 Ford or Chevy with a 327 in it. We'll see.
