Blue Springs, Ms. will mark the first manufacture of the Toyota Prius on US soil according to this report.
The Highlander mid-size SUV production will be moved to Indiana.

Yeah, this is pretty cool. I do find it interesting that the most technologically-sophisticated vehicle in the Toyota fleet will be built by "uneducated" Mississippians. :)

A little known fact my friend is that Mississippi is the center of the universe, let's keep it a secret.

The worst pain in the world is the pain you cannot feel.

It's called....ON THE JOB TRAINING

I've been a supervisor on offshore drilling rigs since 1977 training people who have never been in the oilfield or on a drilling rig before in their lives. People that I worked with years ago are now superintendent's and hold higher offices. I take no credit for their success...they accomplished that on their own. I was only the first stepping stone in their path. I have had people working for me from all walks of life...from almost everywhere in the US...and most races. They have come from all types of backgrounds and have had different skills...everything from school teachers ( school teachers should make more money so that they can afford to keep teaching our children instead of seeking higher paying jobs)...through law enforcement officers and common labor. I have one experienced oilfield worker...one x policeman and one person that owned his own carpentry company...(a sub contractor)...working for me right now....One thing I"ve learned over the YEARS...is that BOOK SMART people have the least common sense when it comes to physical work. They can answer any complicated question but can't figure out how to do common easy physical tasks. I dont' want my friends here...or anyone else to think that I'm slamming our friends with soooo much brain power. What I've said is only from MY experiences...in training....for the last 31 years. And only from my perspective. Some people are more adapt to reading and retention skills...They lead us through all forms of technology...information and government today... and some are very....and I mean....VERY...good at EYE HAND CORIDNATION. Those people are very good at learning how to perform physical work and progressively learning new tasks. Most task's in factory's are designed to be (worm proof)...a worker has less of a chance of making mistakes but the hand eye cooridination needed is in place...supervisors monitor until the ON THE JOB TRAINING is complete. Hand eye coordination IS a skill.....without it our country couldn't build....expand...we'd have no military. Our system of workers could be expressed as a pyramid....in my opinion....everyday...hand eye coordinated people are on the bottom....helping hold up the rest.

Don't fry me....I just had to speak up for the labor force...not only in America....but here....In MS.
