What is your most favorite cookie? Homemade or store bought?
Right now my favorite store bought cookie is Pepperidge Farm Verona Strawberry. And if I want something hot from the oven I get the peanut butter with reese cups dough. Can't remember the brand name though but it is in the refrigerator section of the store.

I know anderlee, it's practically a sin, ain't it? Let's keep this quiet from the Betty Crocker committee, okay? I can't wait to see what Cap's homemade recipe is like. It will put us to shame probably.

. . . . . . .Pretty much any my Mama makes. But - she's 600 miles away.
She still makes everything from scratch but she has all the 'stuff' to do it with - heavy duty Kitchen Aid mixer with a dough hook and all the other attachments.
Her oatmeal/chocolate chip is one of my favorites.
Now, get this. This is pretty cool - I'm 60 years old and my Mom still sends me 'care packages' just like she did when I was in college and in the Army. :bouncy:

She's a Great Mom, DeeDee.
She really is!!
You'all just got me to reminiscing - a couple of the little girls in my old neighborhood used to hang out in Moms kitchen on rainy days and such.
She'd talk 'em through it and let them cook stuff hands-on.
One little girl told me - 'I wish she was my Mama.'
A few years later that same girl gave me my first real kiss - laid it on me right there in the carport - right after I put the chain back on her bicycle.
Scared the livin' fool outta me at the time.
But - she was persistent and I got over it. :D

I like those reese's peanut butter cookies too Dee.
My most favorite are the refridgerated chocolate chip cookies from Corner Market. They have to be the store brand though.....much better than Nestle!!
I have tried many homemade cookie recipes....but I haven't found one that is better than those Corner Market cookies.

Come to think of it, ginger snaps are not that sweet anyway.
