For the first time in my life I haven't a clue what I'm getting. I asked for nothing. My daughter coming home for Christmas was all I needed, and I wanted to get through Christmas without any additional Credit Card Debt so we did it with Cash.

I didn't buy myself ONE thing this year. I also paid cash for everything - and that feels good!

I'm so happy to be living back in my hometown this year. Friends and relatives have been dropping in non-stop to welcome us and say Merry Christmas. I love visiting with so many I haven't seen in such a long time. It's amazing how you can be gone for nearly 30 years and when you come back home, it's as if you never left!!

That's my Christmas gift this year - and Christmas came early!

I try to get family not to buy anything for me. They won't listen. I suggested either a book or a magazine subscription.

Well, I broke down and got this for myself. My women folk don't know how to appreciate or care for guut kitchen blades. I have been slobbering over these Katana Japanese Damascus VG-1 SS kitchen tools for long tine. These are 33 layers of hammered steel. If I catch one on drawer wit utter utensils or in dishwasher, I may skin a hide wit it.
