Help! weird Slow typing

Here's the problem...when I type I could go potty come back and it is still typing out the words. Only happens in the browser. Not Outlook or Word.

August was a year ago I last reformatted...uggg takes days to get it all back together. I hate it! But it may be time....any suggestion?

What to do???? I use FireFox...this just started the day I stared on YH! Last week now I guess!

I just know it is something to do with FireFox....when I push down the middle scroll button on my mouse, it lags too...takes it a few secs to know what it is doing...just too weird...I really don't think I have a Trojan but I might.

have you tried restarted the computer? sometimes my firefox does that----

Hey Carguy thanks yes i have and whats worse is now my going to tab to tab is slowing down...I don't know I never had this. Funny thing yet the internet is running just fine. uugg

I'm not trying to be simple here but just curious:

1- Does it do the same thing when you use Internet Explorer?

2- Have you run your anti-virus program?

3- Have you run your spyware program?

de las tine dat happen to me, it was virus from some sort of script sent to my IP my aaron from MH for a two day ban or som such chit. It cost me a pile of money to get me laptop purged by the geek squad and it pissed me off, severely.

If there is anything I preach LOUDLY is to do all three religiously...but I have not checked any of those Guru...I'll do that sometime this week.

OMGoodness Hawk that sucks! Could you not have let him know you got such a thing?...I do my own purging and reformatting though. I also recover and do my own installs....takes days....I hate it worse than pulling teeth! I get very irritable, very.

OK I seem to be bug free and spy-ware free and IE is running like a dream even with all the ads on the screen. Don't miss seeing those....but wow ummm cough IE is fast!!! Poor Firefox is sick and I don't know what to do for it...I download the newest version today and installed it...still slow typing...even the tabs made it slower....I guess 5 years old is really old for a PC huh.
