I know it's not the reason for the season, but...

If you got something special or you like, post it here!

For me, I am typing on my new 19" flat screen monitor. Went from 19" old style take up the whole desk type. Cool.

Muddy Waters Chess box set. covering 1947-1972. I told my wife, there is a blues Phd. in this music. Keep me busy for a while.

Portable radio with shortwave bands. Listened to Christmas services this am in several countries. Could not understand it, but i got it. Learn some spanish, i guess. China news, picked up German, French, and Arabic language stuff also.

I got a beautiful bracelet from my son (his aunt helped him shop) - it was a nice surprise. My bath supplies were restocked (I love bath products). And my niece and nephew gave me a set of Wizard of Oz nutcrackers - so cute! My brother gave me a VERY nice gift card which I will enjoy immensely!! We had a great Christmas!

My family gave me some really neat gadgets, clothes, etc but the wonderful blanket gift was taking 3 weeks of vacation for Christmas so that I could be here with them, do little fun projects around the place, ride around and visit, and see my 9 month old neice (the only child in the immediate family) overlook everything she was given and roll around playing with the packing paper.

Well, I got to see my 18 month old stay busy amongst a pile of wrapping paper, and the joy on her face when she got her little plastic car thing to ride around in. My 7 y.o. got a new bike and a computer, so I got to see her play games on it instead of MINE. Me, well, let's just say I scored BIG on gift cards to Gander Mountain in anticipation of my April hike in the Appalachians. One of my bro-in-laws got me a Sirius satellite radio and a couple of months of service, so I gotta hook it up tomorrow. The wife got a lot of pj's and perfume and candles, etc, ya know, woman crap, as I call it.

That was her stocking stuffers over here........I got her ANOTHER camera for$Christmas.....a cheapo autofocus digital for like $150. She asked for it, and I said what the 1000 dollar professional grade isn't to your liking? she said no, just wanted a simple pocket cam.
