BAE Systems to acquire Detica for 538 million pounds

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- BAE Systems said Monday it's agreed to buy Detica Group for 440 pence a share, or 538 million pounds ($1.07 billion) including assumed debt. The price represents a 57% premium to the closing price on July 17, the day before Detica said it had received an approach.
