How come?

How come I can't see the 'buttons'. I mean, I see where to click 'reply to post', etc., but there is the box with the red x on it, and a lot of other buttons are the same way. I can't even see some peoples avatars. I'm on a highspeed lan connection right now, and it's still doing it. I can see where it would do it on slow dial-up, but I'm a lan. What gives?

Dude, I don't wear glasses. But really, since I've been on the new site, I can't 'see' some people's avatars and some of the buttons. I can't see the 'thanks' button, etc. I just see box's with red x's. I can see my own avatar, Fotno's, Fishbaits, eyescene, but no RG, no hawk, no nana. I haven't changed any security settings. I don't get it.

I can't see our original image for thanks but a thanks word, instead of the icon but no x. Most likely the reason behind this is because each skin loads its own files and references the images from its own folders that where different from the default I assume. I really don't know man it almost sounds like you have it where sites images will not load but I know you say it works for other things so I am lost. :)

TheKing said he had some more adjusting to things so it may be a little while before him and Pooker can get it all tweaked out.
I'm just going to use the default until they say it's finished but keep checking the new one to see what all is changing.

Try right clicking on it and then select view image... It will hopefully open just the picture for you if you are still having issues with it that is...
If not then look at the top for the web address of the one that is missing...
For whatever reason the software is pointing a reference for the image to a certain folder. And... Since it is on a server with just the ip address instead of the web address the software may be wigging out looking for the folder... Why it is on yours is a good question... Who is your internet provider?
And if this has been solved please by all means...
