Looking For RPG Players (D&D)

I'm new to Hattiesburg, and I'm looking for tabletop RPG players. While I play a variety of different RPGs, D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) is the one I play the most. If you enjoy fantasy, science fiction, or anime, chances are you'll like tabletop gaming.

I'm looking to start a group (4-6 people) who meet on a weekly (or semi weekly) basis on the weekend. I will teach anyone who wants to learn how to play. If anyone is interested or has any questions, you can PM me, reply to this post, or e-mail me at defector@bellsouth.net.

You know I am already up for it man, you should come to an anime convention with me sometime. Boy the tabletop gaming their would blow your mind! Their is always tons of vendors promoting their new games and larp's etc. When the anime club at usm starts up again I will ask them, we seriously need to get this going!

I've been to the Midsouth Science Fiction convention in Memphis for the past several years, and all I do is game the whole time. Even for a small convention, the gaming is pretty rad. I'd love to go to a large convention.

I am going to join the Anime club at USM. (I'm a transfer student from Hinds Community College in Rankin) I e-mailed the the club president, but I haven't heard anything back yet. I figure I can find a few RPG players in addition to watching anime. :D

The previous club president graduated, so their is a new one and I think they are hard to get in contact with. Their is a forum their, its dead but still people read it at usmanime.net , you might want to try pm'ing through to the former president on their and she might could help out.

I'm just a home player....but I sure do envy you getting a group together...ya'll have fun! and report in ever so often...I'd like to hear how it's going! introduce your characters...tell the forum something about the game...let them know what fun it is!

It's great fun. I've been meeting with four or five of my friends every weekend for about 8 years now, but driving back every single weekend is going to get expensive. That's why I'm trying to get a group together here. \
