Does anyone know of ANY free/shareware/demo multiplayer game that I can download so me and the kid can play against each other? I wanted to try a demo/shareware, etc., before I went out and bought something.

Spore is coming out next month....but I don' think that is what you are wanting.

If you can find it,Delta Force would be a good one.
It's not sold in this country anymore,but it is an awesome game.

I found a game called Scorched 3d, it's free, but hard as heck to figure out.

I see "America's Army" listed, it was an OK online/offline game if you like that kinda stuff. You know shoot'em up!
