This one might be my favorite.
Right time of the year, right weather, small and clean, usually has a couple of good bands and always has good food.

Thank you Katz. I didn't know it was about motorcycles. And I almost clicked off of it because I will probably never own one but I am glad I read it. Seems like a good group that is doing good things.

Wow! I didn't know this, so I learned something new today from reading the site.

We feel motorcyclists have the same rights as automobile drivers, so we helped have legislation passed to make antique, personalized and handicapped tags available for membership, such as discrimination in health insurance, prohibitions on motorcycle access to federal and state parks, mandates for unnecessary "safety" equipment (such as air bag suits, roll bars and motorcycle seat belts), prohibitions against sale or installation of aftermarket parts for our motorcycles, higher sales tax on motorcycles than automobiles, forced destruction of bikes 20 years old, motorcyclists injured in an accident are forced to become organ donors and motorcycles are banned from certain roads.

Seriously, 'motorcycle seatbealts' ?!?! Being forced to become organ donors?!?!?!? No one should be forced in to that! And banned from certain roads?!?!??!??!

I guess I missed that part, Katz but they are doing some good things with charities. So that is good stuff.

ABATE is a fine organization. As stated they are concerned not only for their rights but the rights of others motoring.

If any of you choose to ride over to Monticello one crisp Fall night you can take Highway 98 West from Hattiesburg, turn right at the BP station in Foxworth and follow the Mississippi Appalachia trail (highway) through Red Bluffs (swooping hills and sharp curves) and come out in Monticello right by Atwood Water Park. You will enjoy yourself and be exposed to a small but very nice motorcycle event.

For those coming from other parts of the state:

* Take Highway 84 West from Collins, come through Prentiss and then on into Monticello. The lit up ball field on the left is where the event is held just as you are about to cross the Pearl River Bridge.

* Take Highway 84 East from Brookhaven, come through Monticello and look for the ball field just as you are coming off the Pearl River Bridge on the East side of Monticello.

* Coast people: Take Highway 84 West coming from Collins to make it simple for you and just follow the directions above.
