Natchez will receive a $675,000 U.S. Department of Labor grant for a YouthBuild program, designed to help 16-24 year olds get their G.E.D. and learn construction skills. In similar programs, participants alternate two weeks of classroom study with two weeks of work. The city will partner with Co-Lin Community College in Natchez and Habitat for Humanity on the project.
