I've seen on more than one occasion where some will go that fast here in the 'burg. Mainly on I-59 between the 49 exit and the Hardy St exit.

I thought that was the unofficial drag strip in Hattiesburg?

It's good going from the Gandy to 49, too.

The timing of the incident coincides with trooper's planning to restart their "Take Back Our Highways" initiative this morning with a week of aggressive efforts to increase public awareness about bad driving habits and stepped up enforcement of traffic laws.

I'm glad they were able to obige...nice of them to be available as an example of what NOT to do! ;)

Sometimes you just have to try something ..............................

A little "knees in the breeze" is a good thing, at any speed.

Better outcome than it could have been, whether they know it or not. One lane change by a car would have ended in a fatality. Concrete doesn't give much. The cops knew they couldn't catch them, though!

Spike strip would have been a biatch!!!
