New National Guard Armories

Is it me or has anyone else noticed that the new armories look like freakin' fortress's, with barricades and iron fencing. Who are they 'defending' against?

I'm speaking in particular of the new armory in Poplarville and the new one in Columbia.

I've seen the one in P'ville. The 'Readiness Center' or something along those lines. That's one fine building they put up.

I kind of oogle the one in P'ville every time I go by it, and it went up fairly quickly too.

Just look at'em. They've got cross-gate entry ways, iron fencing, block walls, and that's before you get into the parking lot.

Hell yea. Could be a target. Vandalism by passivists, theft by anarchists, and destruction by terrorists.
