Water? Ice? Gasoline? Let us know where you can find it.

SoMissTV has a couple cans of fuel at his house sitting outside, as he has no shed. So if you need it, drop by after dark and be quiet. LOL...
I'm sorry, I'm just trying to 'lighten up' the situation.

The grocery store in Lumberton still has plenty of water and ice.

Elle said the Shell @ 98 by-pass and Elk's Lake Rd was wrapped up. I bought more gas at Mordica's Kwik Stop on Elk's Lake Rd earlier and the lines were short. As I passed the Corner Fuel Truckstop at Camp Shelby southgate rd, the lines weren't too bad.
I've got a 125 gallons stockpiled and hope I don't need a drop but if worse comes to worse, it won't last all long with all the gens we'll be running to save all my garden harvest in the freezers and all the stuff at the restaurant to keep cold.
At the house, I'm going to attempt to keep two freezers and one 110v AC. Will my 5600 watt gen handle those three at the same time. The AC pulls 14 amps and 1600 watts, I think. I ain't sure about the small chest freezer and the side by side Ref/Frzr?
btw: we have another big nasty looking squall line headed this way. These things look like they're moving 40-50 mph, coming thru like a canon ball.

The running wattage guide that came with my gen suggests a freezer will pull 500 watts, and a fridge/freezer will pull 1200. It'll vary by brand & size of course. It also says to triple it for the initial surge. You'll probably be fine as long as they don't all try to come on at the exact same time....

Thanks, seems the only thing i'd have to worry about is the surge but surely all the compressors wouldn't be cycling on at the same time. My gen is 5500 running/8500 surge.
How much does a dang iMac computer pull? :D

The question on everyone's mind should be:who has the beer.

I have tons should anyone run low. Remember, I trade beer and ice for fuel during an extended outage. :D
