But officials say nutria aren't the only animal victims of the storm. "There are dogs, hogs... they're all all over the place," said County Supervisor Lisa Cowand. However, there were no reports of dead livestock as of this morning.
The buzzards will be busy for a while.

When we left Keesler the morning after Camille, we tried walking home via the beach (no car back then.) About where we got turned back, there was a big black cow washed up. Have never forgotten the sight, and this just brought it all back.
