My wife let me go with her to eat here the other day and it was excellent.
They don't smother the food with BBQ sauce, you get the sauce on the side.
Speaking of sides, all of their side items are delicious as well.
Not to pricey.
It's over behind Turtle Creek Mall.

Aww...how sweet of CRawls to allow you out to eat. :p I haven't tried it yet, because I'm VERY finicky when it comes to BBQ. Is the sauce more along the sweet side, or does it have a twang to it. I don't like twang.

Speaking of BBQ....hubby and I ate at Letha Saturday...ummm that was the worse BBQ I have ever had and their sauce tasted like it was 1/2 ketchup.

We first ate at Letha's when it was in Columbia only in the mid 80's. I didn't like it then nor today. I just don't get it what was all the "who ras" about?...must be they never ate at Nana and Hawks.

Kids eat free at Dickey's on Sundays, so for any with kids it's a pretty good deal. I liked them at first, but the last 2 times we went there after church I got terrible heartburn! Not sure if it was the BBQ or the sides (or maybe it was the sermon )....anyway, don't like heartburn so we haven't been back.

I too have never been a fan of Letha's. Stonewall is good and I love their bread pudding!

That's what I like about Leatha's and they are local.

I saw that new place by the Mall last week. Nice building but I don't think they were open when I went by.

I'm not a fan of Stonewall's. It's way too twangy for me. I've only had Letha's a few times, but I'm not in a rush to get any. My daddy's homemade BBQ sauce is my favorite, and my mom recently whipped up a batch, it's daddy's recipe, but I don't know if she did it right. Haven't tested it yet, but she brought me two bottles of it.

The 'Original' Stonewall's in in Picayune. All the franchisers purchase their franchises from him. So you could say Stonewall's is a local business as well. It started around here, and the franchise here is owned by locals as well. win-win.

This and 2 bucks will get you a cup of coffee.... :)

I've only had Rose's at a Dixie Youth baseball event, but I remember it was pretty good.

I still get drumettes from Rose's.
That's about it.

I'm a big fan of pulled pork and brisket Texas style.I guess that's why I like Dickey's so much.

Drumette's from Rose's freakin' rock. When I was a kid my dad and I would get some of those while hunting out at Shelby, we'd eat a few pounds, did more eating than hunting, lol.
