A six-hour standoff at a West End home ended shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday when police stormed the house to find a man and his wife dead inside.
Family members identified the victims as Angela "Angie" Felton, 38, and Warren Slater, 41, who were married, they said.
Birmingham police spent hours Tuesday trying to make contact with the couple inside their home at 541 Frances St.
