We went years ago. I was told that you can ask for a cheeper price if you only plan on going up to the buffet one time. A man that I know use to go often and took his mother once, she does not eat much, and he asked if they had a cheeper price. It may have been a senior citizens discount or something. When we went years ago, it was very good then. You just have to go early. We do not eat enough to justify paying that price for a buffet.

Very good place to go. I pass in front of it often. No storm damage this last time around in that area so it's full tilt every weekend.
Used to go there with the NOLA internet group.

I remember you mentioning this before.

It imploded due to troll action and other internet flame throwing contests, cat fights, bad behavior and the fact that NOLA.com did not want their name associated with it anymore.

I went there a few years ago with my bro-in-laws. We were told not to return, cuz they eat like horses.......but we thought 'ALL YOU CAN EAT' was some kinda challenge.

You know that place really isn't that far away. I guess about maybe 95 miles from home. Far if you dwell on the numbers but the ride is nice.

We went once and it was pretty good. I don't like to eat so much that I am soooo full, so I prolly didn't get my moneys worth LOL. Get there early, and take your time. I would suggest going when crawfish were in season ( If you like them ). Any kind of seafood and anyway you can imagine will be on the buffet. It really was not a bad drive from our home, and the ride IS good, all but the paper mill.
