It doesn't seem that long ago that we got here but according to the numbers I myself have been here awhile and have talked a whole lot although YourHattiesburg and MississippiForums has not been online for a complete year yet. I just noticed some numbers and thought I would share them with you. Loud mouth me today has created 500 Threads and 5533 Posts on this new site.

Together as members here we have created and read 4,436 Threads and 65,074 Posts. Add about 10 kazillion "Views". That has to be some sort of record. I'm not much on numbers, quality far outweighing quantity to me, but compared to other web sites that I have been a part of that is pretty much what someone that does count numbers would call a Grand Slam. Some places live for the numbers. Some places can claim a lot and profess to be the end all but in this little endeavor I'd say the proof is in the pudding.
I still read other sites and enjoy the fact that some of their most posted and viewed threads have my name on them but this little fledgling but growing group is the place I come to before I do anything else daily and usually the last place I visit at night. And, I'm proud for the success of this or any web site. If you can remember the days before internet you understand what I mean.

Most days when I find the time I have looked for interesting articles or Threads to start or bring from other forums where I have started them.
Also to me it's just really nice to be able to read what everyone says about things, the life they share with us here and I try to join in the conversation myself but at this point I am beginning to think I'm either running my mouth too much, spending too much of my relaxing time on the computer or have outstretched myself to provide some meaningful conversations here.
It takes a lot of work to make anywhere a place where people are drawn to.
I'm looking forward to the time we start picking up people from all around the state so we can read about their daily lives and thoughts.
Until then MississippiForums invites everyone here to feel free to gather their articles of interest and share with the group.
Nothing like having a few moments daytime or night time to prop your feet up and find interesting things from just down the road or from wherever it comes from.
Thanks for accepting my membership. It's been a real gas so far.

Guru, I've personally enjoyed your input on this forum and appreciate the time and effort you and others have invested in making YH/MF a comfortable place to come and spend time with others I have come to appreciate as my "forum buddies". :D

Even though I don't post too much, I do read through many of the posts that interest me every few days or so. I have to say that lately I spend most of my time here in the arcade... :o oh well, it's a free stress-reliever from the daily grind! :D

Keep on keepin' on, Guru!:clapping::wavey:

That's okay MSQ. We all need stress relievers. Just be sure and speak to us every now and then.

You so sweet. And I like your pictures too. I always smile, they seem so fitting to the topic at hand.
