Don't laugh, she's come a long way already, from Moselle to Dixie. Now, she has been lifted off her old frame for the serious work to start. It's good to know someone with an excavator. Sorry for the crappy pic, I had to use my phone, as the wife was away with the camera in her car.

It maybe a bucket of rust to some, but remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And, all I need to succeed is for someone to doubt me. And, it has been done.

She is a '50 Plymouth. Here's a link to a '49, of which the body style is the same.

She will roll again, for she is American made. Born from the fires of the Pittsburg steel foundries and the auto plants of Detroit. Her flame has withered to a small ember, but the flame will be fanned, oh yes, she will ride again. Like a pheonix rises from the ashes, so shall my ride.........muhahahahahhahahwwawahahaa.......

Good luck to you Bpitt. I admire your under taking. Restoring an old car has always been a secret interest of mine. but the money and skills it takes are a wee bit beyond me. I can't wait to see the finished product.

I've a choice of a 350 SBC or a 390 F....F.....Ford...there, I said it. I may have a Dodge 318 coming, but I ain't betting on it.

Oh, and I've already got an S-10 frame to swap out as well, that way I'll get disc brakes up front, rack and pinion steering, and a better ride. The wheelbase is off only one and one half inch, but my rear fenderskirts will hide that.
