I heard this today while talking to someone figuring out some hay cutting. The word is that the rain will be moving back in on Thursday this week.
Haven't had any time yet today to check in on The Weather Channel. Anybody know the "facts"?

Looks like there is a chance of a 'few showers' on Thursday only.

Here's the link to the 10 day forecast.

Ground is hard and dry. Need to plant greens in my spare time! It was too wet and too early for a while, then...

Yeah you would think with all the rain we have had this season the uppermost crust would still be damp but it is dry for sure. I saw no rain in my rain gauge when I got home. That makes it about 2 weeks since it rained here.
The hay has not been cut yet. I hope they slide in and getrdone before it's too late.

Rain would be nice... our driveway looks like a dust storm every time we go down it.

Yeah, it will probably rain Thursday, as that's when I'm supposed to be going down to Cruisin' the Coast.

jr. stomped the crap out of mine yesterday evening. I like to have kilt him.
he was usin' my rows as runways and runnin' down the middle of them. They had just broken ground and were about 3/8" or so tall. I almost friggin' cried.I had to worry about cows and now Jr......

He won't be doin' it anymore though. I took care of that.

Boys will be boys! I'm gonna break some ground and plant today. Been tilling it up frequently to keep grass out. Shouldn't be a big deal to turn it over a couple of times, fertilize, turn again, and plant. Then wait for a sprinkle...

A deluge came in Wiggins this afternoon, and lucky me, I was in it. Spent most of the day cold, and the rest wet.

The gods conspired against me and prevented the planting! We needed it anyway. The average frost date for our area is like Nov 12. I should be ok...

It clouded up and gave up a few drops today but scant few. Never stopped working.
I think it's still supposed to really rain tomorrow throughout the state.

I should go back my car out of the carport and let it get rained on, but that would involve dressing, and one of the benefits of staying home sick is staying in your robe.
Glad to see the rain, hope it washes away a bunch of the pollen!
