The fall in price is from an all time high of over $4, triple what prices averaged in the late 1990’s and into the early 2000’s.
“We are constantly purchasing fuel on a regular basis and the prices change every single day,” said Morson, “People come in all the time and ask, ‘What is your fuel price today’ and I have to stop and look at the price I paid for that fuel because I price my fuel the way I pay for it. In other words, if I have diesel fuel left over from yesterday, I price it at yesterday’s price.”
