The premise of this is to get a feel for what would be the most sought after trip. Feel free to comment why you voted for what topic.

I went with the elk hunt in Montana. I love the mountains, both those of the east and those of the west. When I was younger, i.e., high school, college days, I swore that one day I'd leave Mississippi and live somewhere with mountains, either Montana, Idaho, etc., or east Tennessee, North Carolina, etc. And, I love to hunt, especially in the few remaining places where you can go and NOT see anyone else.

bear hunting

because THATS true sportsmanship...hunting something that can kill you back if something goes wrong

i know the elk can...but theyre much less likely

BEARS!

BEARS!I can agree with that if you're hunting Brown Bear or Polar Bear, but Black bear? I have a problem with sitting over a bucket of food and shooting a animal that's hungry and more scared of you than you are of him.

I chose the Elk hunt and I'd go with a bow. Now that's hunting, not just shooting.

Tough choice....I chose the sailing trip. There is a ton of thing you can learn from crewing for a captain that knows how to race a sailboat.

Do like Tred Barta and kill a Grizz with a home made arrow and a long bow........That guy is just like you see him on TV ALL of the time......

I watched a Bill Fish fight that lasted for damn near an hour south of the Platform.....that looked like a blast.

I figured I'd see at least two votes for the Regata.......I was a crew member on J Boat for the Biloxi Regata about 6 years ago......They used me a ballast pretty much.

Well, the sailing trip had to be obvious choice for me. However, i would love to hook up on a billfish and fight a while. Close second. Very close. Can't i just troll a line out during the regatta? HA!

I chose the billfish trip. I would choose the bear hunt as a second only I would hunt with my wrist rocket slingshot.

i grew up hunting and ive brought home a couple deer...nothing with a huge rack and nothing really to get up in a fuss over

i just lost interest in it because its not really 'sportsmanship' if you will...

im all about the challenge

if it were up to me...and i wouldnt get ridiculed out of this world...id strip down to my loincloth and take a spear and go kill stuff

sitting in a tree and shooting something as it walks by whatever ive set out or decided to get in the stand over for them to come eat isnt my big cup of tea

im with IGID...i like the sport of it

fishing is different.....its a lot of fun and you tout them with food

floundering is a good way to go...and i did a good bit of bow fishing when i was 14 or 15

I haven't hunted in a long time. Back when I did hunt though, we weren't allowed to bait the animals. Is that a local thing, or is it a widespread practice now?

Well, I can sit in a tree all day and not see a thing. I can walk for miles through the woods and not see a thing. It's sport for me right now. I have a cousin' though that could kill one in the mall parking lot on black friday if he hunted there...for some it's just easy, for others....well, we are still trying.

I like hunting at night.
It adds a degree of difficulty to it the Game wardens just can't appreciate.

Okay now, go easy on me...FB said I could come in here. I chose the Bill fishing. I love deep sea fishing. I love fish that fight...makes it exciting and bill fish are beautiful!!! One day, I hope to go to Costa Rica or Cozumel or at the very least return to the blue water in the gulf.
